Comments: |
For use on bayfront and keys only. Will be severely damaged by temperatures below 28ºF. Over-used in south Florida, the Black olive makes a nice shade tree close to the coast. It must be pruned regularly to maintain good wind resistance. The tree has spines, which are a problem in some landscapes. Shady Lady is a cultivar with a nice compact crown. |
