For use in the western part of the county only. Highly-desirable native for coastal areas and an excellent tree for small spaces and poor soils. Caution should be used in placement of the tree, as it will be damaged in cold weather. The tree requires routine pruning to maintain strong structure. Silver-leafed variety is smaller.
