Comments: |
Underused as an urban tree. Will tolerate almost any site and roots do not heave pavement. Young trees are pyramidal; mature trees often have open, gnarled crown. Good wildlife tree. Only drawbacks are that limbs will snap in high winds and will create visibility problems (as tree holds low limbs). |
