Comments:

Wind, pest, and drought resistance, plus an ability to grow in small spaces, make Soapberry a good tree for urban use in our area. Unfortunately, it is not grown in enough quantity at this time. Tree requires some structural preuning when young and should be located where berries will not be a problem (poisonous seeds).
